To help spread the word about Clear Roads and its work to support innovations in winter maintenance planning and operations across the country, Clear Roads advocates traveled to Washington D.C. earlier this month to present an informational poster to thousands of transportation professionals during the Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB).
The poster, titled “Clear Roads Brings Snow-and-Ice Problem Solving to All Agencies,” highlights the pooled fund’s many achievements since it was formed in 2004, including its selection as one of two winners of the first-ever TPF Excellence Awards earlier this year. Minnesota DOT Assistant State Maintenance Engineer Sheila Johnson (pictured) was on hand to speak with attendees and discuss how Clear Roads has benefited her agency.
