The Clear Roads Technical Advisory Committee proposes new research projects for funding at the beginning of every year. Below are the titles of projects selected for funding during the spring 2021 TAC meeting. The TAC is working to scope each of these projects and select vendors to begin work through a competitive RFP process.

  5. Evaluation of Electric Vehicle Technologies for Winter Operations
  6. Calculated Plow Cycle Times from AVL Data
  7. Determining the Migration of Chloride-based Deicers through Different Soil Types Adjacent to Chloride-treated Roadways
